Generate an Ontology

Once you have completed your ontology design, you can generate the ontology to be used with Transformer Model design for either informing or restricting.

The hierarchy of the ontology's classes and properties can be seen by selecting the Hierarchy tab on the right. It includes collapsible menus that shows classes and their subclasses, object properties and their subproperties, and datatype properties and their subproperties.

Once complete, select Generate Ontology.

If you wish to publish the ontology so that other users in your organisation can use it, select the lock icon to edit the user access permissions to one of three options. Select Save and then Publish Ontology.

Collaboration can also be enabled in your model designs. This is done by selecting the lock icon in the visualisation switcher dropdown, and selecting from one of the same three permission options.
