# Generating and Testing a Mapping
1. Once you have completed your transformer mapping design, the model can be generated by selecting the `Generate Model` button.
2. Once generated, select `Test Model` to view the result of transformed source data against the model represented as Nodes and Edges CSV data.
3. The model can be edited and tested as many times as required. Once satisfied, the model can be published to the transformer ready for use in production or with large source files. This is done by selecting the `Publish Model` button.
4. Collaboration can also be enabled in your model designs. This is done by selecting the lock icon in the visualisation switcher dropdown, and selecting from one of the same three permission options.
